How it works
- Open freedrawboard.app and click 'Create Board'

- They join by entering the password — no signup for them either
- Draw, type, drop images. Everything syncs in real time. Drawings never touch a database.
Common use cases
- Quick design feedback sessions
- Classroom diagramming with students
- Pair brainstorming for product ideas
- Casual sketches with remote teammates
- Throwaway whiteboarding without setting up a shared account
How it compares
Compared to Miro and Mural — those are heavyweight enterprise tools with persistent boards, infinite features, and account requirements. Freedrawboard is instant: no signup, password-protected rooms. For ongoing team workspaces use Miro; for quick collaborative sketches use freedrawboard. Compared to Excalidraw, freedrawboard's real-time sync works without an Excalidraw+ subscription. Compared to Google Jamboard (discontinued in 2024), freedrawboard fills the no-account quick-collab gap.
Privacy
Drawings are relayed through Supabase Realtime but never stored on any database. The password is the room identity — without it, the URL leads to a different empty channel. Local board copies live in your browser and persist across refreshes; export to PNG to keep a permanent copy.
